In one of Dub FC's poorest performances of the season a last minute equaliser was the only high point of low quality match.
Dub faced a strong wind in the first half and were up against it from the start of the game. A bobble in front of keeper Colm Kernan saw Glen Swifts score a soft goal. A couple of contentious off-side decisions robbed Dub of a goal before half-time, and enabled Glen Swifts to add to their tally when a well struck shot bounced of Colm Kernan's chest straight at the feet of a Swifts attacker.
The second half saw Dub continually attack with the strong wind behind them. Three corners cleared off the line by Swifts seemed to be ominous omens when it just didn't look like Dub's day. However, with 5 minutes left Shane McCusker scored his fifth of the season. This gave Dub the impetous to put Swifts under even more pressure and it finally paid off in the last attack of the match. Shane McCusker crossed from the right just over the head of John Quinn but Cormac Kernan was right behind him to slot it home.
