This was a shocking performance from a below par Dub. Not even the dramatic second half introduction of Dickson could inspire the team. It was clear that this team had not played a competitive game in 3 weeks. Surely now qualifying for the quarter final is impossible. Dub lie bottom of the group with only rwo matches remaining and they still have to play the two best teams - only a miraculous 2-1 win over Trinity and an unbelievable 6-0 win over Turflodge would allow them to top the group now. Unfortunately this is the stuff of fairytales and based on a performance such as this the chances of achieving this are a million to one - but who knows maybe the Kernan duo can turn things around.
One nil down at half time Dub rallied in the second half and should have equalised but McCann's lob was curiously disallowed. Two more defensive errors cost the game.
Man of the Match; Art Kernan - easily Dub's best player on the day - and he didn't get on the pitch!
